ARTIST BIO
Madhulika Mohan, (New Delhi, 1995) is a multi-disciplinary conceptual artist, and writer. She holds a degree in Contemporary Art Practices with a focus in poetry, from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India. She has a diploma in Art Therapy and a Studio Arts Diploma from Metafora School of Arts, Barcelona.
Madhulika's works are observations and notes to understand and deconstruct the human condition as experienced through words. Through videos, poetry, publications, and interactive exhibits her works investigate their elasticity and malleability, their meaningfulness and meaninglessness, while wondering what life would be without them.
She has performed at several events, such as Mehfil-e-Alfaz, Rasik Studio, (New Delhi), and the exhibition B. Reigns, (Bangalore). Her works have been part of several collective exhibitions including a site-specific installation at the Barcelona Sants Railway Station (Spain), Once Together (Online), La Plaza del Ayuntamiento, (El Bruc), Gallery Sumukha (Bangalore, India), CEMA Gallery (Bangalore, India), Krematorium Sihfield (Zurich), The Art Entrance (Mumbai), Gandhi Art Gallery (New Delhi). Her work is part of the Library of Curiosity Collection at Cambridge University, (UK). She has been a writer in residence at the Can Serrat Residency in Spain, and is the co-curator of an ongoing online archive of images, drawings, and photographs, From Your Window.
She is the founder of The Artist's Ear, a personalized art mentoring program, that empowers young artists with tools to navigate the oftentimes chaotic creative process confidently and authentically.
